places to go. things to do

a few things i will do before i die. yes i WILL do them. lol i just wanna list them out for me to check off :P

i wannna:
- walk on the great wall. altho i heard it's not easy lol but i wanna do it.
- go to paris and up the eiffel tower to look for a ferris wheel (lol jk) but seriously, i wanna go up it.
- go to italy and take that dorky picture of me pretending to push on the leaning tower of pisa.
- go to ny on new years eve to watch the ball drop tried it for nye 2009. it was too cold so we left haha
- go to a city that the sun doesnt set during that particular time/season and it's not the north or south pole.
- snowboard somewhere else other than lake tahoe. i went to whistler in vancouver nov 2007 :D
- go to japan, visit all and buy some the inuyasha, nana and fruits basket places/stuffs
- meet Archie Kao
- meet Edward Norton
- meet Lee Pace
- visit the grand canyon.
- visit the CSI Vegas set and meet the crew (not really sure if this is possible. but it'll be cool. then i can maybe kill two birds with one stone. archie!)
- do outdoor rock climbing + camping

you don't want to come here for new year's eve. the only people who go to the ball drop are tourists. so it is more of a spectacle event than commemoration of a new year. to say nothing of standing in the cold, squeezed in with a hundred thousand other people. the only real good parts are when reporters go around the crowd, offering 15 seconds of spotlight to people and the sea of confetti.

hmm.. go to a city where the sun doesn't set during a particular season, with the poles excluded. you are in luck! the sun never sets in helsinki, finland during summer. enjoy!

if you go to italy, tell the pope i said "sup". :P

yeah i know there was a city where the sun doesnt set excluding the poles but couldnt remember which city it was! lol cool thanks for lettign me know!

as for going to ny for nye. of course i'm a tourist! that's why i wanan do it. i know it probably will suck bc it'll be snowing and way crowded but i wanna try it once lol

maybe i'll be rich and i'll have a hotel room that faces time square during that time of the year HAHAHA

haha you wouldn't want to be a tourist though! people would be offended by your very presence, and you are way too awesome for me to allow that. but if you are enthusiastic about it, i could guide you on how to act. haha

WOW! you just gave me inspiration to buy a tix to japan! LOL but i feel bad if i go to japan without my sister! so i guess that means i need to save up for two tix! o_O

how long do you plan to stay in japan?

alright. i'll try to plan my japan trip within a year then (HAH!)

but i do hope that it will be within 2 years!

you do know that i can probably afford two japan plane tickets but not three right LOL

I think the sun not setting thing also happens in Alaska, if I'm to believe the movie "Insomnia." :P

Good list. :) I want to go to NY on NYE too. What can I say? I AM (or will be) a tourist. ;)
